DORMAC is a privately owned Ship Repair company with five Southern African branches in Durban, Richards Bay, Cape Town, Saldanha Bay and Walvis Bay (Namibia).
It main activities are the repair, maintenance and conversion of all types of marine vessels at any one of these locations or, anywhere else in Africa, through the offering of either their Riding Squad or Shipyard-in-a-Box services.

Fibre-Wound Specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of a variety of glass fibre and other specialised plastic products aimed at the Chemical, Mining and other industrial markets where the material’s natural corrosion resistant properties are of value.
These products include Chemical Storage Tanks, Process Vessels, Piping, Ducting, Stacks, Protective Linings, PTFE / PFA lined steel piping systems and other custom made products.
We are manufacturers of high quality steel gratings and grids and related products, mostly for but not limited to the construction, marine, water treatment and food processing industries.
History and Current Status
We have serviced the South African industry since 1996 as an AIA. We started with two major operating facilities initially from a satellite office in KZN servicing:
1. Engen Petrochemical Refinery
2. Vodacom KwaZulu Natal Region
A formal office was established in January 2002 at the current business address. The client base grew substantially to more than 260 regular clients within two years. This client base however included small, medium and large companies from the telecommunication, petrochemical and paper, pulp, mining, and construction, structural and welding industry. Currently the client Based is still growing and mainly originating from service excellence
and total dedication from the management team to the industry based on continuous improvement principals. 2012 saw the start of RBI Technical Solutions International (Pty) Ltd with a focused restructuring process and management buyout in order to comply with current and future
Broad Based Black Empowerment equity legislation requirements. 2014 an additional Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Town Planning
Management section was established to provide a full turnkey service.
Manufacturing of Tailor made grating for walkways, stair treads, Handrail systems, expanded metal (Mesh). Suppliers of GRP/ FRP (Plastic reinforced fibre) grating. Drawing office to assist with the layout of Grating platforms.
ISO accredited, and manufacture all our products to international standards by using a 350WA grade of steel throughout.
