SAIMENA handed over two prizes to students at the LMC at their prize giving event on Friday 24 November 2023.
I was accompanied by Jacques de Klerk, and Samantha Montes was also there (for CPUT), as well as SAIMENA member Johan Swart who is the board of LMC.
Always fantastic to get exposure to these well developed learners.

We also held the annual William Froude Memorial event at the Old Burial Ground in Seaforth, Simon’s Town at 10:00 on Monday 27 November 2023.
This one of the important community support projects that SAIMENA undertakes, where show our support for the efforts of Simon’s Town School’s Lawhill Maritime Centre with young maritime scholars.
Learners from Grade 11 and 10 attend the event, where a cheque to support this worthy cause was handed over.
