South Africa is charting a bold course in maritime autonomy, the presentation by Eddie Noble
(Noble Concentric Solutions) and Shawn De Villiers (Icarus Marine) unpacks the regulatory
landscape for Unmanned Surface Vessels, traces the origins of the concept, and delivers a
overview of the Sea Serpent USV capabilities. Shawn will provide an insight into the advanced hull
design and performance modelling. Eddie will explain the integrated systems and autonomous
control technologies that make this platform operate. Gain firsthand insight into lessons learnt from
