SAIMENA National and Branch AGM meetings completed for 2026

SAIMENA has completed the 2026 AGM meetings for the Institute last week.

Thanks to those members who participated in the SAIMENA National and Branch AGM meetings that took place:

  • National AGM on 19th Feb as an online meeting.
  • Durban Branch AGM on Wed 25th Feb at the RNYC at 17:30
  • Cape Branch AGM on Thu 26th Feb at the Survival Centre, Granger Bay at 17:00
    (followed by a presentation on a Feasibility Study done for ECSA on registering Maritime Engineering as a stand-alone engineering discipline at ECSA).

Congratulation to the new SAIMENA Council and SAIMENA Branch Committee members who were elected to continue steering the Institute in the forthcoming year.

All members are encouraged to get more involved and to provide inputs on what you want to talk about in the events that are planned for the year.
