Carrying out casualty work on behalf of Hull & Machinery, P & I, Liability and Cargo insurers including surveys of incidents affecting every type of vessel from yachts to the largest ULCC and the most complex LNG or chemical carrier.
Braemar (Incorporating The Salvage Association) is also a leading marine consultancy providing warranty services for the Cargo, Offshore Energy, Construction, Liability and Hull & Machinery insurance markets. Additional services include risk management; risk assessments, including environmental and emissions risks, feasibility studies; risk audits of vessel and engine room operations, shipbuilding and repair facilities and their procedures; assessments of port operations, wreck removal and navigation.

Raubicon has a demonstrated track record in engineering and project management in the electrical and control systems disciplines for land-based and marine applications.
Raubicon delivers integrated designs addressing constructability, function and maintainability. Designs are taken from concept through Class Approvals, construction and acceptance testing.
History and Current Status
We have serviced the South African industry since 1996 as an AIA. We started with two major operating facilities initially from a satellite office in KZN servicing:
1. Engen Petrochemical Refinery
2. Vodacom KwaZulu Natal Region
A formal office was established in January 2002 at the current business address. The client base grew substantially to more than 260 regular clients within two years. This client base however included small, medium and large companies from the telecommunication, petrochemical and paper, pulp, mining, and construction, structural and welding industry. Currently the client Based is still growing and mainly originating from service excellence
and total dedication from the management team to the industry based on continuous improvement principals. 2012 saw the start of RBI Technical Solutions International (Pty) Ltd with a focused restructuring process and management buyout in order to comply with current and future
Broad Based Black Empowerment equity legislation requirements. 2014 an additional Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Town Planning
Management section was established to provide a full turnkey service.
